It's time for a #TuesdayTip!

Have you heard of a "reading ruler?"

A reading ruler is a simple, low‑cost tool - a colored transparent strip - that helps people with dyslexia track one line of text at a time, reducing visual stress and improving focus, speed, and comprehension.

How does it work? A reading ruler is placed over the page so only one line is visible at a time.

The reading ruler strip:

- Blocks out surrounding text to reduce visual distractions

- Highlights the current line so the reader can follow it smoothly

- Can be tinted to ease visual stress (e.g., yellow, green, blue)

- Sometimes includes a magnifying lens

If someone you love is struggling with dyslexia or other reading difficulties, give a "reading ruler" a try!
